Daniel Burity is an award-winning Brazilian filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.

 

He started his career directing and editing for public television in his hometown of Salvador, Bahia.

 

At age 27, Daniel moved to New York and has since worked on productions with acclaimed filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg. His films have won multiple awards and have been featured in publications such as Time Out NY and The Huffington Post.

Daniel filmed artists such as Yoko Ono, Madonna, and Debbie Harry, among other acclaimed artists. As a producer and editor, he has worked on campaigns for companies such as Meta, Fujifilm, and Neon, where he produced and edited a series of videos for the Oscar-nominated film The Secret Agent.
